The Tortuga Daypack Pro is surprisingly packable for such a large and roomy everyday backpack, though its soft structure also causes it to cave in at the top.

YETI Panga 28L Waterproof Backpack Review (2 Weeks of Use)
What a great review! Thank you for being so thorough, even better than the retailer websites!
300 in outlets
Why wouldn't I just use the PD compressible packing cubes? I could only see this being used for completely random crap I plan on bringing and want them bundled together instead of strewen around my luggage.
Thanks for reviewing the phone case too!
Weird. My.comment has gone. I just said I think it looks a bit shiny and cheap, not £125 worth. I'd rather an Osprey Daylite Plus.
Where can I buy it?
My subjective take: I prefer the Aer Go Pack 2. Less noisy/crinkly, better zipper pullers, and a bit better organisation options esp. in the main compartment. More objectively, this Tortuga looks to be a great day pack, the one issue that popped out to me is the lack of luggage pass through. Not a deal breaker necessarily but a surprising miss for something that would work so well as a personal item.
“a little bit” here, “a little bit” there…. 😆
what is the small sling you said you carry a lot that it did not fit in?
Superb review ! very detailed thanks so much I’m getting one😊
For the price it should have all aqua guard zippers.
Thanks for the nice review. This bag great features & good compromises. I don’t think you really considered what it delivers at 1 pound
Tortuga Daypack Pro: 21L 1.0 lb 17.3 x 11.6 x 6.5 in $125 My Ecohub 'one bag': 20L 1.2 lb 16.0 x 10.0 x 8.0 in $ 30 My 'one bag' for all my travels is smaller than many people's day pack. But still, I love backpacks and backpack review channels! And I am always on the lookout for lighter/more compact backpacks that are comfy, reliable and have the features I want. Wish the Tortuga Daypack Pro has full panel-loading. Anyone know of any packable backpacks with full panel loading??
Personally, I think the Aer Go Pack 2 is a better fit for my needs.
There are a few features in the Aer Go Pack that probably make it a bit better. But this one is easily a competitor.
I prefer the Aer too. The lack of luggage pass through on this Tortuga, while not a deal breaker, is a surprising miss for something that works so well as a personal item
❤❤
I hate my grip6, total waste of money. I’m going to give the Arcade a try. It’s between the Arcade and the Groove belt. I want something that has a little stretch to it.
Completely garbage. Children’s pack that makes adults look ridiculous when they wear them. Don’t waste your money 👎🏻👎🏻
I can't find this on Amazon.
What’s your opinion… does having a bag like this actually scream that you’re a tourist as opposed to a non-descript bag?
Watch Peak Design's videos, these cubes are more meant for gear, not clothes.
Well thought out sling and a good review
Thanks for watching! 😃
I have this one. No idea how they came up with 5,5 liter capacity though. 3 liters max is real capacity.
PACE PRO 25L BACKPACK . Can you use this backpack & see how it holds up over a short time? $140.00
Fjallraven seems to have run out of ideas in the process to differentiate itself from other backpack-duffles. Those straps are lazy. The presenter could also do with some hair products & a brush.
How about you drop the ad hominem attacks?
@@apmartini70 why?
Great review. Seems like a nice pack.
Thanks for watching! 😃
Such a great review of the bag! Every little thing that you mentioned are tiny things that will matter as you use the bag daily. I really appreciate this. Good job! Please make a review of the SYMPL All Terrain Tote 😊
Nice 👍
Michigander? Up north , Grand Hotel gives it away 😊
Yup, we're based in Detroit!
Awesome review, Thanks a lot. I bought The North Face backpack in Black colour (24 litres).. TNF Basin 24
Will the side pockets fit a 30 oz hydroflask?
Thanks for the clear and honest review. I'm still torn between this and the Fjällräven though! I'll watch your other review and then try decide. Thanks again
Thanks for watching! 😃
You mentioned water resistant. How does it hold up in heavy rain?
Thanks for the review. We just tried out a farpoint in REI and didn't like it -- it didn't seem to fit our torsos. We figured this was because they got rid of the small and large versions and went to O/S and we're just a bit too small for that. Not a single one of the like dozen reviews we've watched showed that there was, or how to, adjust the torso size! Your review is the only one that mentioned (and demo'd) it! We also never noticed the little drip hole for the water bottle compartment -- that was another neat tidbit exclusive to your review. Thanks!
Carbon fiber version is necessary
No rubber bumper at the bottom kind of sucks if you drop it
Love it! I got the 10oz for my wine to-go
Bought this a few days ago. Im amazed how many items it can fit! It fits my: -16” gaming laptop (was surprised it even fit on the laptop compartment) -18oz water bottle -cables and laptop charging brick -power bank -mini umbrella -wallet, mint candies, airpods, coin purse i put the umbrella on the water bottle compartment for easy access. It’s very good for errands and a daily carry. Totally worth the purchase ❤
Thanks for the info! 🤙
Just a suggestion: try to put in the usual things you would want to carry in this bag. Would be great to see how much the bag can fit in. How it looks with actual day-to-day items inside.
100% это не 35л сумка. я вытащил свои вещи из своего старого American Tourister (38л), и не смог уложить даже половину в Альпаку. Я сдал этот рюкзак назад в магазин. :(
I watch backpack/pouch videos all the time, and I have no idea why this video never come up to me. I just got a Metro Backpack, and this would be a perfect companion to it❤. It looks like a miniature of the backpack 😂 I checked the website, and this is not listed. Did they stop producing it?😢
What do you call these kinds of strap adjusters? I find them to definitely NOT be a quick adjust system
nice but it is freaking massive!
Love my original owala but looking for a skinny version for my business bag, this will be perfect 👍🏼
I will never understand why companies do not provide "tutorials" like this, they should be paying you, well done!
I'm concerned about the magnetic buckle could disengage so I lose my sling bag (and all my stuff in it)
I was wondering if you could squeeze the packs longest measurement to make it more compact. I know it's hard to do it on the current Farpoint 40 because of the stiff frame. So basically does it have a hard frame? Was thinking of this bag as a possible personal item bag when not fully loaded & as a carry on when fully loaded. Like a 2in1 :) Thanks in advance!
Hey! Nice video. I’d like to know if it fits as a personal item in low cost flights, like Ryanair or Easyjet.
do this shoes have cushioning?
Do you guys have Leatherology backpacks?
